Some renovation projects do not easily fit into nice categories such as bathroom remodel, or kitchen remodel. A whole house renovation project can be as small as a few rooms to as large as the majority of the house getting major remodeling work done.
Milton Construction is qualified to successfully work on any area of your home – inside or out. We have a dedicated team of skilled carpenters, as well as a carefully selected bench of various tradesmen whom we have worked with for many years. We do not engage in putting our projects out to find sub-contractors with the lowest bids.
The picture at the top of this page is a living room renovation that involved adding recess lighting to the ceiling, adding custom bookshelves, installing stone onto a brick fireplace, and touching it all off with crown moulding and fresh paint.
This project for Milton Construction Services is one of our most uncommon remodeling projects, simply because it does not fit any of our primary service categories. Our client built their log cabin many years ago with the plan to finish the trim details after they moved in. Well time went by, and the husband passed away and the work was never completed. Yet the husband left meticulous notes and drawings that were helpful sharing his vision. During the spring of 2015, Todd Milton and his incredibly talented crew renovated our existing home to make it more handicapped accessible and attractive. They completely gutted two bathrooms. One bathroom was made larger and updated with a beautiful shower unit that you simply step into. It has a seat and handrail that has the restoration hardware͛ look. The other bathroom was updated with the same beautiful unit and fixtures. They also remodeled two small bedrooms on the main level and made one large bedroom, with an awesome walk-in closet (with shelves and cubbies)!
They reworked two existing windows and added window seats with storage units under the seats. New light fixtures were added, hardwood floors refinished, and fresh paint applied. We love the finished project and continue to enjoy our new living space so much! During the project I could not have asked for better people to work with…they were polite, respectful and so very helpful when making decisions. Each day they left the work area as neat as possible…I was amazed and thankful because we lived in our home during the renovation!
