Featured Deck and Porch Projects

Here’s a nice variety showing decks and porches built as part of a custom home, additions to the home, or even as replacements to an old deck.

Harrison Appomattox Porch Renovation Project

In the fall of 2019 we were contacted by Mr. and Mrs. Harrison here in Appomattox who wanted to upgrade their home with a new portico and porch renovation. For this project we coordinated with a local landscaping company and built the renovated porch when the landscaping work was completed. The new porch features painted, open pine rafters and columns locally milled by Grayson Ferguson Woodworking in Lynchburg and custom cut and built by our skilled carpenters. The project was further enhanced with new, painted caps on the deck and steps and new aluminum railings.

Wallace Custom Covered Deck Project

Also in the fall of 2019 we were contacted by Mr. and Mrs. Wallace because they were having trouble finding a reliable contractor. The Wallace home is in Drakes Branch, VA, a rural Lunenberg County community at the outer southeast fringe of our service area. They had already had a patio and porch base built so we added their custom hip roof cover and metal railings strategically matched to the home’s style and colors.
