Large Home Addition with Major Renovation
This project for Milton Construction services took place in Rustburg. Building an addition to your home is probably one of the largest single investments that you will ever make short of the building a new home. The first phase of this project included us designing and building a home addition for a new Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, Sunroom, Laundry Area and unfinished Basement too. The total living space added is just over 1,250 square feet. Then we temporarily relocated the homeowners into the new space while we began Phase Two of the renovation. The second phase focused on a substantial remodel of the existing home, with an emphasis on the kitchen and main living areas. The project included removing an entire wall, reconfiguring windows and doors, reframing a former carport conversion to align with the home’s floor elevation, installing new wood flooring, refinishing existing floors, and completing a full kitchen remodel with new custom cabinetry. Featured Log Cabin Renovation in Goode, VA
This project for Milton Construction Services is one of our most uncommon remodeling projects, simply because it does not fit any of our primary service categories. Our client built their log cabin many years ago with the plan to finish the trim details after they moved in. Well time went by, and the husband passed away and the work was never completed. Yet the husband left meticulous notes and drawings that were helpful sharing his vision. Featured Whole Home Renovation in Phenix, VA
This featured project is in neighboring Phenix, a very rural (culturally and historically rich) area about thirty minutes south of Appomattox in Charlotte County. Part of the house was over 100 years old and the back section was an addition around 40 years old. Milton Construction completed a home renovation consisting of a kitchen remodel, two bathroom remodels, all main level flooring and ceilings, addition of a screened porch, and more.
Milton Construction Company recently renovated our entire 100 year old farmhouse…this was a lengthy process which they made as painless as possible. The remodel was completed on budget and on time. Featured Lynchburg Home Living Room Renovation

The living room had no lighting available other than lamps. Todd and his team created a new ceiling, complete with four recessed lights and a ceiling fan with a lighting feature. As an added luxury, Todd and his team wired for surround sound while the ceiling was under construction. This allowed for a seamless and professional look when it came time for his team to install the surround sound. Once a plain and boring fireplace, Todd and his team used stacked stone to add new life! Additional features of this project included beautiful custom built-in cabinets and shelving, as well as hidden electrical outlets and speaker wires.
