The project progressed smoothly without any construction obstacles.
What were the decisions that contributed to the success of this Deck Renovation project?
Like many homeowners, they were initially surprised by the investment required for premium composite materials, but their confidence in the long-term value and in our team ultimately guided the decision.
Perhaps the most delicate part of the project wasn’t the deck itself, but replacing a window in the adjoining sunroom—one of those specialized tasks that can be surprisingly difficult to tackle properly.
This project was completed for a longtime client who has trusted us with multiple projects over the years.
After the old decking was removed, we completed framing repairs prior to installing the new composite decking. We also show all old decking and railings removed prior to adding new composite decking.

It is a wonderful before-to-after comparison after the renovation was complete. Here we show the railing in black aluminum with a drink rail on top. Then we show a close up of the bench.

We also replaced a few windows in this sunroom while we were there. Rather than traditional lattice, we built a custom sort of finish for underneath using the composite materials.
