After an encounter with some unexpected wildlife, our plumber decided he would be more effective providing direction from outside the crawlspace, while our carpenters handled the hands-on work below.
It became a true team effort, and despite the unusual circumstances, the plumbing upgrades were completed successfully.

This project was especially meaningful because the homeowners had recently relocated from out of state, discovered us online, and ultimately trusted us to help transform their new home.
While the property was ideal for their lifestyle and provided the space they needed for training sheepdogs, the house itself was small and did not reflect their preferences for a more open, modern living environment.
The challenge was reimagining the existing home to feel larger, brighter, and more functional without losing its character.
Through our design, including the removal of select walls and improvements to the overall flow of the home, we were able to create a space that better suited their needs.
We were particularly excited when, a few years later, they returned to us for an even larger addition and renovation project.

We first worked with our clients to create schematics so they could visualize the final kitchen. The design work, cabinetry, and countertops were provided by Elm Home Design, an interior design studio in Lynchburg, Va.
Now it was time for the actual construction to take place. Here are a few of the more dramatic images that allow you to see the ideas for this Kitchen going through its transformations. The walls have been removed and the beam is installed flush with the ceiling for a seamless finished ceiling. The cabinets are installed and awaiting new countertops.
