Nearby Appomattox Bathroom Remodel Project
This project was completed in Appomattox neighboring Gladstone, VA. The project included a rather unique Bathroom Remodel. The layout remained the same but the feel of the bathroom and laundry area is so much cleaner after the renovation. Most unique is seeing how low the windows are demonstrating that perhaps this room was perhaps an old porch at some point? The entire bathroom and laundry area got an electrical upgrade along with painting and new flooring.
This is a very old house, with a portion from the 1700s, an addition from 1800s, and every sort of home improvement along the way! The bathroom had a bath with a laundry area that the owner just wanted updated. The owner had already found the vanity cabinet before we showed up and we installed it for her.
Even with a such a confined space, we were able to add some modern appeal with this nice new vanity area, flowery tile in the shower floor, and cute little niche in the shower wall matching the floor.
I am extremely pleased with the bathroom/laundry renovation that Milton Construction did on my 200-year-old farmhouse. They were very professional, skilled and courteous during the four-week process, and I am thrilled with the results. Nick and Sam were very pleasant and communicated well with me throughout the project. I am especially appreciative that they were able to respond quickly on an extremely cold morning when my pipes froze, and we were able to expand the project to insulate the pipes and crawlspace to prevent it from happening again, which gives me tremendous peace of mind. Todd and Domenic also provided excellent oversight and kept me updated on the schedule through the work. I am very glad I found Milton Construction to perform this remodel, and I would definitely use them again in the future.
